Political Veteran Ginny Wolfe Named ONE’s Communications Director
Washington, D.C.-ONE today announced that political campaign veteran Ginny Wolfe will lead the global anti-poverty group’s communication and media outreach efforts as its new U.S. Communications Director.
Wolfe comes to ONE with more than 30 years of experience in directing public affairs and political campaigns at both the state and national level. Most recently, Wolfe was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Manning Selvage & Lee, a global communications firm. Previously, Wolfe served as Senior Counselor and spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and as Communications Director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, where she spearheaded nationwide communications activities in the 2002 election cycle. With one exception, Wolfe has been involved in every Presidential campaign since 1976.
“Ginny brings a wealth of national campaign experience, political savvy and media relationships to ONE,” said ONE U.S. Executive Director Sheila Nix. “We are thrilled to have her lead ONE’s communications efforts to help mobilize Americans behind programs that are saving lives and helping the world’s poor fight extreme poverty.”
In her new role, Wolfe will lead ONE’s strategic communication efforts in markets across the United States, as well as work closely with ONE’s policy, government relations and community partnership teams to build bipartisan support for U.S. efforts to fight global poverty and save lives through disease prevention.
