ONE appoints Suzanne Granville as North America Executive Director
WASHINGTON– The ONE Campaign, the global advocacy organization co-founded by U2 lead singer Bono to fight extreme poverty and preventable diseases, has appointed Suzanne Granville to be its Executive Director for North America. Granville joined ONE in 2012 and served as Senior Director of United States Membership Mobilization, organizing ONE’s grassroots campaign efforts in the US. She most recently served as Acting Executive Director for North America. Before joining the ONE Campaign, Granville led issue and membership engagement programs at Americans United for Change, AFL-CIO, and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Tom Hart, President, ONE:
“Suzanne’s political acumen, campaign experience, and work to generate public support for ONE’s work across the United States has led to numerous successes in our fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, including significant victories that have improved access to affordable electricity in Africa and increased funding to help fight AIDS, TB, and malaria. Over the course of ten years at ONE, she has built on her reputation as a strong leader who can advance our priorities in the US and Canada, as well as globally. We’re fortunate to have her at the helm of our North America team and we look forward to her continued leadership and vision.”
