The ONE Campaign has been active in the 2008 election in Minnesota through an initiative called ONE Vote ’08, a national effort to encourage both Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama to develop initiatives that can save lives from global diseases like AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis and help those living in brutal poverty around the world.  As part of this effort, the ONE Campaign is planning a full-slate of awareness-raising events at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Minneapolis, September 1-4. The ONE Campaign will have a similar schedule of events one week earlier, Aug. 25-28, at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colo.

ONE Vote ’08 is a project of the ONE Campaign and ONE Action. It is not endorsing or opposing any candidate, but is encouraging all presidential candidates to address these critical issues.
