The ONE Campaign responds to OECD Foreign Bribery Report
David McNair, Director of Transparency and Accountability at The ONE Campaign said:
“The OECD’s report clearly shows that much of the bribery and corruption that occurs today could not happen without third parties using secretive legal structures. This is yet another piece of evidence which supports the urgent need for transparency around who owns and controls companies and trusts. Without it, journalists, NGOs and governments cannot hope to clamp down on the international web of corrupt activity and criminals that thrive whilst depriving the world’s poorest countries of vital resources for schools, hospitals and the chance to build stronger economies in the future.”
