Lis Wallace announced as Acting UK Director
Today, it was announced that Lis Wallace will be taking on the role of Acting UK Director for ONE, following the announcement of Romilly Greenhill’s departure.
Speaking about the news, Wallace said: “I’m delighted to take on this position in the months ahead and lead ONE’s work to highlight the amazing work the UK does to fight poverty around the world.
“The need to respond to global challenges has never been greater, so it’s more important than ever to ensure that the UK’s contribution to that has maximum impact and value for money.
“I’d like to thank Romilly for all her work leading the team in recent years, and wish her all the best for the future.”
Lis Wallace is the UK Director of Policy and Advocacy at the ONE Campaign, having joined the organisation in 2019. She has led on the team’s political influencing and global health, education and food security policy work in the UK, as well as global health and education campaigns and general elections. Lis has been recognised for her work in the field, having won the PRCA in-house Public Affairs Professional of the year in 2018. She has also worked in the UK Parliament.
