End mother to child transmission of HIV

This action is now closed

ONE met with the Global Fund's Executive Director, Professor Michel Kazatchkine, on 26 May and delivered nearly 20,000 ONE member signatures.

He shared his thanks to ONE members, and we feel confident that the Global Fund is serious about its commitment to the health of women around the world

Since 2002, the Global Fund has given over 2.5 million people (and their families) a future thanks to life-saving AIDS treatment. They've also provided nearly 800,000 mothers with treatment to help ensure their babies are born HIV-free, and the great news now is that they've set a path to end mother-to-child transmission of HIV altogether by 2015.

Our work now starts with ensuring the donors deliver on their commitments and fully fund the Global Fund.
