Last night, I spoke with US Senate Candidate Jim Bender in Concord, New Hampshire. I was able to talk with Jim about the efforts ONE made in New Hampshire during the 2008 NH Presidential Primary, and more importantly what ONE Vote 2010 is accomplishing in the state around the open US Senate seat.
In 2008, ONE had a presence at nearly every Presidential town hall meeting in New Hampshire and spoke with every candidate from both parties, on numerous occasions, about the great work the United States is doing to save over 5 million lives from needless and preventable death – stupid poverty. This time we want to make sure that the next US Senator knows that fighting AIDS, malaria and hunger in Africa is not only possible, but it is a priority! I believe that, over 10 thousand Granite Staters believe that, and over 2 million Americans believe in strong US leadership in the face of extreme poverty and global disease.
I gave Jim a ONE band and in return he gave me his e-mail address, and asked us to send over more information so he could learn more about ONE and our efforts! ONE is looking forward to continuing the conversation with Jim and all of the Senate candidates from both parties, and making sure that the world’s poorest are not forgotten in the Granite State!

I am sure Jim, a good conservative would have nothing to do with this lobbying outfit.
They are pushing for Obama’s Global Poverty Act.
They are not a charity.
They need to avoided like the plague.
